Akari Style Guide: Dash Combos, Mastery Progression and Full Stats

Akari is one of exactly three Ultra styles in Volleyball Legends — and the one whose search interest keeps climbing, because Dash is the most expressive movement kit in the game. Here’s how the meter, the combos and the five Mastery tiers actually work, sourced from the community wiki’s current data.

How Dash Works

A Dash Meter sits at the bottom of your screen and charges passively over 10 seconds. On activation, Akari dashes in the direction you’re facing or moving — including mid-air, which is where the kit gets interesting:

That mid-air action economy is Akari’s whole identity: jumps become repositions, mistimed approaches become recoverable, and blockers face a spiker whose contact point moves sideways at the last moment.

Mastery Progression (this is where it gets scary)

Akari’s Ultra Special upgrades through Mastery:

  1. Mastery 1–2: Dash charges 15% faster each tier (10s → 8.5s → 7.39s)
  2. Mastery 3: precisely timing a spike off a Dash grants a massive spike boost — the tier that turns movement into damage
  3. Mastery 4: another 10% charge speed (→ 6.65s)
  4. Mastery 5: Double Dash — airborne action count rises to around three

A maxed Akari dashes every 6.65 seconds with a spike boost and a second dash in the tank. The grind to get there peaks at 250 post-Dash spike scores, 1,000 total dashes, 200 Ranked wins and MVP 200 times.

Stats (wiki estimates)

Spike 100% · Jump 100% · Speed 85% · Block 60% · Serve 60% · Dive 50% · Bump 45% · Set 40% — plus the Dash stat above 100%. That 85% speed is the second thing people miss: Akari covers court like a libero while hitting like a spiker.

Balance History — Actively Tuned

Three balance passes in six months — the developers clearly consider Akari important enough to keep on a leash. Current form: strong, no longer degenerate.

Worth Your Pity?

If you’re saving the 400-spin Ultra pity (200 on a 2× weekend), Akari versus Hakka versus Ronin comes down to playstyle: Akari is the movement-skill pick with the highest expression ceiling. Our tier list seats it in S — the Mastery scaling means it keeps improving long after you pull it, unlike styles that peak on day one. Pair the decision with free spins from the codes page, and if you’re still pre-Level 15, bank everything — Ultras don’t drop before then anyway (beginner guide has the full order of operations).
